Hi
My site runs on Joomla 1.5.8
I have updatet do 1.1 a few days ago. Now I realized, that the stars show but there is no reaction to voting.
Is there something I can do?

Your server probably has a permission problem. VOTItaly 1.1 solve a little permission bug with some server, but stand at what you (and other) are writing in this forum the fix create the same problems to other servers...

To ways to choose:

  1. Come back to version 1.0

  2. Contact your hosting support

Well, I uninstalled version 1.1 and reinstalled version 1.0.
And I still can't vote.
Weird: Before installing version 1.1 voting was possible.

I'm afraid I will have to uninstall votitaly.

Mhmm... what do you mean by there is no reaction to voting?

Do you mean that you can't submit your vote or the submission doesn't end correctly?

Send us the link of your site, may be your problem is not related to the plugin...

I click on a star to submit a vote. Nothing happens.

great. It works again, in vesion 1.0 and also in 1.1.

The de_DE.plg_content_ji_votityly.ini file has a problem with ü and german double s though. I had to replace them wicht ae and ss. See the attached file.

yes, the file is utf8 - by accident. Just learned how to check and set.
